U.S. Customs ACE-PGA Updates

Automated Commercial Environment Updates

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has posted updated ACE Documentation on its website identifying the Partnering Government Agencies (PGA) forms and/or data elements specific to exports together with an indication as to whether the forms and/or data may be submitted electronically through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) via the PGA Message set or the Document Image System (DIS).

An updated version of PGA Filing Status chart has also been posted to reflect the recent cancellation of several pilot programs.

Harmonized System Update

U.S. Customs has announced the release of Harmonized System Update (HSU) 1701, containing 1,295 ABI records and 293 harmonized tariff records.

The CBP message states that, “Modifications include agency requested PGA indicator changes made to support the PGA message set functionality.”

The update also includes all required modifications for the verification of the 2017 Harmonized Tariff Schedule, which can be accessed on the U.S. International Trade Commission website here.
